Melbourne - by Cheryl Overs
Its goodbye to Mano. I am really sad but happy he is now adrift as he is meant to be. I got him from Mathew Branson and gave him to some local kids in Brighton UK but they were not confident about passing him on so I took him back and gave him to Philip Leon who gave him to art sudents and then took him back to give to me to take to Portugal and Australia. In Australia I gave him to Andrew who took him to Geneva. He is at a meeting at the World Health Organisation with people from all over the world so who knows where he will go next. ! I have lots and lots of stories to tell. It has been so wonderful.

Lots of people are asking for a Mano Facebook.

The day Mano left Melbourne for Switzerland we took lots of pics of him with Melbourne people in the streets. Everyone asked all about him, except at aboriginal housing where he was understood without any questions. I thought this was touching and magic. (I am a White Person) My friend said it's probably just because as homeless aborigines they would have been in loads of social art projects thanks to Well Meaning White People.
Mano met lots of rich people and poor people with me. He also met some of the strangest breed of all - rich people that get paid a lot to help poor people. Hopefully that will prepare
